Kampong Thom – CPBank celebrates the ASEAN Savings Day under the theme ” Saving habits for you and your family ” on October 31, 2023, organized by the National Bank of Cambodia, the Association of Banks in Cambodia and the Association of Microfinance in Cambodia at the Steung Sen Park in Kampong Thom province.
The event was presided over by the H.E. Yim Leat, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, Deputy Governor of Kampong Thom Province, Local authorities, relevant departments and units in Kampong Thom province, the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, the Association of Banks in Cambodia, the Association of Microfinance in Cambodia, representatives of banking and financial institutions in Cambodia and a total of about 1,000 participants.
The program aims to raise public awareness of the importance of saving, enhance the culture of savings, promote savings mobilization in formal financial institutions, and improve the effectiveness of financial management.
